Founded in 1992 Sinotique gallery has been Jan Lee's venue to bring distinctive home furnishings to his clientele of NYC's top interior designers and architects as well as a distinguished list of notable celebrities and NY natives. He continues his love of rustic surfaces and well worn objects in his own line of custom made furniture. Using traditional mortise and tenon joinery this console is made with a solid live edge slab up walnut, with walnut legs. The top is accented with inlaid butterfly details. Inspiration came from 17th century Chinese altar tables that have a rail running along the back so as to keep objects from falling behind the table. The contemporary piece was designed and made by Jan Lee, and exemplifies a high level of craftsmanship. $6200.00 one-of-a-kind
