The Fairfield County Antiques & Fine Art Show
November 27, 2011  |
A new show comes to Norwalk Connecticut this week! Karen and Ralph DiSaia and Diana Bittel have joined forces to bring together a wonderful group of dealers to create a new show that has something for everyone. Bringing together dealers from all over the US, and some from Europe to create a Holiday show, the selection of objects at this show will be diverse and interesting - and includes fine works of art, folk art, ceramics (English, American and Chinese), 17th, 18th, and 19th century extraordinary American, English, and Continental furniture, elaborate English boxes, nautical works of art, early American silver, fine jewelry, Shaker, garden furniture and accessories, fireplace material, early glass, Oriental rugs, early toys, fine 18th and 19th century prints, rare books, great American early U.S. flags, quilts and weathervanes.

The Preview party will benefit the Norwalk Hospital and the tickets are very reasonable at only $150.00 for a wonderful evening of food, libations and shopping!

In an effort to support local museums and historical societies, the promoters reached out to partner with several of them to create a destination not only for shopping, but learning and experience as well. South Norwalk is a wonderful, vibrant community and a trip here will introduce you to some delightful restaurants and local shops.

On Saturday and Sunday casual booth talks about a variety of interesting subjects help visitors to the show learn what makes art and antiques so interesting.

This show is a terrific place to find that unique and yet universally appealing gift for that special person in your life. It's also a great place to find a wonderful “gift for yourself! We are excited to have the opportunity to welcome you at the wonderful new show! See you there!

The show is easy to drive to and very close to the Norwalk Train Station. There is plenty of free parking.
