The 37th Antica Namur Art & Antiques Fair November 9 - 17, 2013
Located just one hour from Brussels in the the city of Namur, capital of Wallonia, is Antica Namur, considered to be the Belgian antiques fair of the autumn that no one should miss. 120 Belgian and foreign exhibitors use the space with elegant booths, decorated like interiors. The 37th edition brings a tribute to women, as muses, collectors and artists.
Each year the fair draws around 27,000 visitors. This figure has remained relatively stable, although there is an increase in international visitors, a fact that attests to the good cross-border reputation that Antica Namur has acquired since it was first inaugurated 35 years ago. Belgian (both French and Flemish speaking), French, German and Dutch collectors and amateurs would not dream of missing this rendezvous with its focus on antique artworks. They are joined by a wide selection of Belgian and European dealers and professionals. “The fair has a strong reputation for eclecticism and discovery,” explains Luc Darte, fair manager. “The wide diversity of the stands, the high quality assortment and the variety of objects seduce clients of all profiles who are notwithstanding always highly exacting, enthusiastic and loyal.”
